Tougher demands to the buildings thermal protection, new approaches to thermal design, higher concurrence on the building materials market and new methods of laying blocks with the use of new bonding materials resulted in buying the technological equipment by the German company “Wehrhahn”.

As a result it has become possible to manufacture AAC elements with high dimensional accuracy and high quality surface.

Building industry now will get AAC blocks that can be laid with up to 3 mm joint of new bonding materials, thus minimizing the so called “cold bridges” in the exterior wall. It will lower costs of thermal insulation and finishing works. The AAC blocks of the high quality exterior wall will result in better microclimate and heat and humidity comfort during autumn and winter.

According to the tests by Minsk Institute of Building Materials thermal resistance of the 10 mm joint with traditional mortar is 20% lower, than resistance of the 3 mm joint with new bonding materials.

This is a product corresponding to European standards.

In some respects this new product outdoes German analogues. In particular, water content of the Grodno AAC blocks after the thermal treatment is 30% lower, than that of the AAC blocks made according to the traditional German gypsum-based technology.
